June through August is Bon season in Hawaii.
The meaning, spirit, and importance of Bon is captured in this video.

Dr. Harold Hall is a neuropsychologist from the Pacific Institute of Kamuel, Hawaii.
He was the featured speaker and presenter at the Mindfulness & Meditation workshop on March 14.
He resides in Kawaihae, Big Island and is a member of the Daifukuji Soto Mission in Kona.
